Just a quick update on my green anaconda! She has gone from 53 or 54 in to around 63 or 64 in since March. She's getting a large rat every three to four weeks. She is a dream come true! I hate the refutation these snakes get. They aren't monsters they aren't man-eaters and they can be extremely docile. Their power should be respected but they are great pets. But please don't get one if you can't provide them a proper size enclosure with more than just a water dish. These are snakes that sends a huge portion of their life in the water and especially when they get large due to their heavy bodies, they need water area. She has a very large enclosure coming in the middle of September. Her Pond will be 6 feet by 6 feet by 2 feet and it will be heated and filtered. And the water will be changed upon poop or pee entering it. They are a lot of work but they are totally worth it. If you can't give your snake a proper enclosure and more than just a water dish, don't get them.
